Martin Freeman and Amanda Abbington were together for 16 years and the actress says she didn't want to hide the "really bad days" of their split from their kids. The pair split in after 16 years together and the year-old actress fears that the domestic trauma may lead their two children - Joe, 15, and Grace, 12 - to drink and drugs. She has previously maintained that she has remained friends with the Sherlock star for the benefit of their kids. The pair worked alongside each other on Sherlock and Martin had previously admitted filming was "no fun" during the couple's split. However, Amanda confessed that although she had "bad days," she wouldn't hide them from their kids. The actress, who starred in Billie Piper's I Hate Suzie, also revealed how distressing it was for her son to read death threats made to her online. She admitted that it's easy for someone to make an anonymous account online to troll people and to "destroy people".
